The Unit is an American action-drama television series that focuses on a top-secret military unit modeled after the real-life Delta Force. The series originally aired on CBS from March 7, 2006, to May 10, 2009.

Stargate Atlantis (often abbreviated as SGA or just Atlantis) is a Canadian-American military science fiction television series and part of MGM’s Stargate franchise. The show was created by Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper, as a spin-off series of Stargate SG-1 created by Wright and Jonathan Glassner after the release of Stargate (1994). The first three seasons of the television series were broadcast by Sci Fi Channel and The Movie Network before the series moved only to Sci Fi Channel for its last two seasons, meaning a release of 100 episodes before the series was cancelled. The story of Stargate Atlantis follows the cliffhanger episode on Stargate SG-1′s seventh season finale “Lost City”, where SG-1 found an outpost made by the race known as the Ancients in Antarctica. After the events of Stargate SG-1 season eight premiere “New Order”, the Stargate Command sends an international team to investigate the outpost. Soon, Dr. Daniel Jackson discovers the location of the greatest city created by the Ancients, Atlantis. The story unfolds when the members of the expedition encounters the Wraith, the race that defeated the Ancients ten-thousand years ago.
The series was a ratings success for the Sci Fi Channel, and was particularly popular in Europe and Australia. Although it received little critical response, Stargate Atlantis was honored with numerous awards and award nominations in its five-season run. It also spawned the live-action spin-off TV series Stargate Universe set to be released in 2009. Merchandise for Stargate Atlantis includes games and toys, print media and an original audio series. Teletubbies is a BBC BAFTA winning children’s television series, primarily aimed at pre-school viewers, produced from 1997 to 2001 by Ragdoll Productions. It was created by Anne Wood CBE, Ragdoll’s creative director, and Andrew Davenport, who wrote each of the show’s 365 episodes. Narrated by Tim Whitnall, the show rapidly became a critical and commercial success in Britain and abroad (particularly notable for its high production values), and won its BAFTA in 1998. Although the show is aimed at children between the ages of one and four, it has a substantial cult following with older generations, mainly university students[1]. The mixture of bright colors, unusual designs, repetitive non-verbal dialogue, ritualistic format, and the occasional forays into physical comedy appealed to a demographic who perceived the show as having psychedelic connotations. Teletubbies was controversial for this reason, and also for a perception that it was insufficiently educational. The show was also at the center of a controversy when American cleric and conservative pundit Jerry Falwell claimed in 1999 that Tinky Winky, one of the Teletubbies, was homosexual. Falwell based this conclusion on the character’s purple color and his triangular antenna; both the color purple and the triangle are sometimes used as symbols of the Gay Pride movement.[2] However, despite an ensuing boycott, the show remained in production for two more years, and “Teletubbies say “Eh-oh!”", a single based on the show’s theme song, reached number 1 in the UK Singles Chart in December 1997 and remained in the Top 75 for 32 weeks, selling over a million copies.
